Internship: Day 2

Leland fricken conned us into this "internship." This is totally summer school. We get homework, grades, quizzes (announced and surprise), a final exam, and a final research paper. It is nothing like experimenting a type of occupation to see if you like it at all. Fucking hell.

We had a 3 hour long class in the morning. Then we took a "field trip" to the city hall in the afternoon. It was mostly boring, because the guides kept rambling. Also, one of them asked us what we wanted to do, and Akane and I said environmental science. She looked at us like she pitied us or was disappointed in our choice and responded, "Welllll.....good luck! I'd pick medicine if I were you." It was really rude.

Then it took us 25 minutes to walk from our building to the VTA station. xP When we had just passed the Virginia station, our train broke down. The brakes wouldn't release, and so we sat there for about 20-30 minutes until the engineer drove the train backwards to the Virginia stop, where we got out and got onto another train. That train was stopped for another 15 minutes or so, then switched tracks (it was on the tracks going the opposite direction before). By the time I got home, it was 5. Our class ends at 3:30.
