Since when was an act of kindness repaid with cries of hate and disbelief?

I've been reading Wicked. It was a really good book right until the last few chapters..........the witch just goes too crazy for my taste. Plus, she was rather sane before. The insanity just happens suddenly. It seems like Gregory Maguire is just trying to end the book hastily and provide an explanation for why the witch died.

Davis is giving me $19,000 in financial aid for the 2009-2010 school year. Dang.

This morning I went to Aeropostale to get the free 17 magazine go green tank top that says "do your part." I finally got it (when I went 2 days ago the shipment hadn't arrived yet). Then I shopped around Claire's, didnt buy anything (earrings for $14.50 is too expensive - I can get 14 earrings in Taiwan for that price). Went to Forever 21 (my favorite store ever) and got a really cute dress for $14.50. Met a few people I knew there, and then went to Papaya, didn't get anything, and left.

^I have gotten way too fat....need to run.

Ate at Country Inn with my boyfriend for our 2.5 months today. Luckily we don't have school. It was good, except for the eggs. Way undercooked.

Yesterday I went to SF to see Wicked with the music department. First we went to Fisherman's Wharf and ate at Bubba Gump. Watched the sea lions for awhile. Got to Orpheum Theatre. It's really pretty. And looks way bigger from the inside than the outside.

The girl scout cookies that I spent $4 on contain both hydrogenated oil (clogs your arteries) and TBHQ (lighter fluid). Great.

Ugh, having to listen to a bunch of idiots with IQ's that don't even top 100 debate politics and whether beating a woman is acceptable or not was ULTIMATE TORTURE.

As for my opinion on the topics debated...

1. beating a female is never okay
2. obama should pull the troops out, not redirect them into afghanistan
3. that chimpanzee thing should have been shot since it injured/killed someone and since chimps are smart, it may then come to think that action is acceptable
4. the sunnis and shiites are fighting over religion primarily and basing your argument on a fictitious book, even if it's based on facts, is not reliable, even if the book was really good (kite runner)

I'm looking forward to the portrait project though.

I cannot wait for Daylight Savings Time to begin. I have missed the sun at 6:00 o'clock at night.

At least they're not bad stuff, except for the rejection letters. For once, I feel almost as busy as Erika, except her lists that are as long as mine are are usually for just one day or one week. Crazy bitch.

When you say "Happy Singles Awareness Day" when you're in a relationship, you are automatically a flatout, insensitive bitch.

An Eventful Day

My school had its third bomb threat this school year today. I liked how chill all of my classes were though. In English there were about 10 people, so we just continued Tropic Thunder. In Choir we worked on sight reading; by some miracle we had at least one person for each part. In Zoology we watched James and the Giant Peach because it was the only movie that Walton had. In Gov., she discussed senior project. And I ditched photo cause I didn't want to go through another day of Hicks, plus one of his ridiculous quizzes to boot.

Daniel got me this humongo rose; it's large than my palm! In return I made him chocolate-dipped strawberries. We're going to dinner at Cheesecake later. But he didn't make reservations. Hopefully there'll be room. Then we're going to watch He's Just Not That Into You.

It never ceases to amaze me what little reasoning my mother possesses.

Happy Chinese New Year's!

It's officially the year of the ox.

It's a pretty nice new year's for me this year. I went to EVHS's fashion show on Saturday and slept over at my best friend's house. We stayed up watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

Then today I found out I got 100% on my gov. honors test, something I wasn't expecting (because I thought I bombed one of the essays).

There's nian gao downstairs and green tea "cheesecake"........

I can't wait to get away from here.

Monday, January 19, 2009

I went to eat lunch at this place called Food Talk Cafe (don't ask, it's an Asian place). It was okay. The food was okay, but the beef noodle soup really sucked.

I liked their decor though.

hainan rice with chicken

the beef noodle soup

pork.

Then we went to Daiso, and I bought a bunch of girlie stuff. Not like stickers or anything, more like face wash and eyelash curler, etc.

Later we went to a Chinese supermarket. So of course we found some pretty crazy stuff. Such as these pig hearts.

And frogs. My boyfriend thought they were being sold as pets.

After those images, of course you want some nice appetizing stuff. Well, we went to a yogurt place and I got way too much yogurt but it was good.

Tartini, because Yogurtland is overrated.

Blegh. Okay, so I just found out that Jason Dohring is a second generation Scientologist.

No more crush on him.

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

My school had another bomb threat today.

Monday, January 12, 2009

So I have developed this humongo crush on Jason Dohring, aka Logan Echolls from Veronica Mars. I think I have more of a crush on Logan than Jason. Haha. Maybe because he protected Veronica and then they ended up kissing and I got butterflies. But I am quite annoyed with Veronica because she's going out with another guy. And she just kind of uses everyone in general.

On the other hand, my teacher brought in a black widow to zoology class and scared the crap out of all the girls.

I've kept 3/4 of my resolutions so far. I have started going on Facebook less, only once every two days most of the time. I've done lunges and lifted weights, and I'm going to the gym next Monday. I've finished almost all of Season 1 of Veronica Mars and started Season 1 of The Office. I downloaded Australia and am going to download Changeling.

But I've broken the money spending one. I bought a pair of skinny jeans and a maroon sweatshirt today. It doesn't help that I also want purple or brown moccasins and flat black boots. And a Zippo lighter, but I can wait for that for my 18th birthday.

2009 Resolutions

I haven't made any resolutions in awhile because I never keep them, just like everyone else. But I decided to come up with some this year because I've gotten ridiculously lazy. Senioritis, anyone?

1. Go on Facebook less.
2. Get into shape.
3. Spend less money.
4. Watch more movies/tv shows!
