It never ceases to amaze me what little reasoning my mother possesses.

Happy Chinese New Year's!

It's officially the year of the ox.

It's a pretty nice new year's for me this year. I went to EVHS's fashion show on Saturday and slept over at my best friend's house. We stayed up watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

Then today I found out I got 100% on my gov. honors test, something I wasn't expecting (because I thought I bombed one of the essays).

There's nian gao downstairs and green tea "cheesecake"........

I can't wait to get away from here.

I went to eat lunch at this place called Food Talk Cafe (don't ask, it's an Asian place). It was okay. The food was okay, but the beef noodle soup really sucked.

I liked their decor though.

hainan rice with chicken

the beef noodle soup

pork.

Then we went to Daiso, and I bought a bunch of girlie stuff. Not like stickers or anything, more like face wash and eyelash curler, etc.

Later we went to a Chinese supermarket. So of course we found some pretty crazy stuff. Such as these pig hearts.

And frogs. My boyfriend thought they were being sold as pets.

After those images, of course you want some nice appetizing stuff. Well, we went to a yogurt place and I got way too much yogurt but it was good.

Tartini, because Yogurtland is overrated.

Blegh. Okay, so I just found out that Jason Dohring is a second generation Scientologist.

No more crush on him.

My school had another bomb threat today.

Monday, January 12, 2009

So I have developed this humongo crush on Jason Dohring, aka Logan Echolls from Veronica Mars. I think I have more of a crush on Logan than Jason. Haha. Maybe because he protected Veronica and then they ended up kissing and I got butterflies. But I am quite annoyed with Veronica because she's going out with another guy. And she just kind of uses everyone in general.

On the other hand, my teacher brought in a black widow to zoology class and scared the crap out of all the girls.

I've kept 3/4 of my resolutions so far. I have started going on Facebook less, only once every two days most of the time. I've done lunges and lifted weights, and I'm going to the gym next Monday. I've finished almost all of Season 1 of Veronica Mars and started Season 1 of The Office. I downloaded Australia and am going to download Changeling.

But I've broken the money spending one. I bought a pair of skinny jeans and a maroon sweatshirt today. It doesn't help that I also want purple or brown moccasins and flat black boots. And a Zippo lighter, but I can wait for that for my 18th birthday.

2009 Resolutions

I haven't made any resolutions in awhile because I never keep them, just like everyone else. But I decided to come up with some this year because I've gotten ridiculously lazy. Senioritis, anyone?

1. Go on Facebook less.
2. Get into shape.
3. Spend less money.
4. Watch more movies/tv shows!

Happy New Year's everyone!

I finally went shopping today and as always after shopping am really excited to use/wear my new stuff. I am way too materialistic...but I've held back on a lot of spending this year, so what's a little spending at the end of the year?

My family and I went to eat at a buffet for lunch, then some of us went to Northgate to shop. There I got a vest for $12 from Forever 21 (what a deal) and a cute necklace. Then we went to VS and I got a pushup bra for $30 (even bigger deal). When we came out of there my brother and dad were sleeping on a bench, so Ro dropped them off at home and just her and I (that sounds funny) went to Alderwood. There I found these adorable scarves at Express that I really really wanted, but they were $30 each and ridiculously expensive, even with the buy 1 get 1 50% off deal. So I held out, and we went to Love Culture where I got a black scarf similar to the one I wanted at Express except way fuzzier and cheaper. At the Forever 21 jewelry store, I bought a whole bunch of hair ties for $1.50 and a package of cute little monkey key topper things.

Oh, and I got a cartilage ear piercing. Surprisingly it only hurt when the earring went in, then it just sort of swelled, was red, and throbbed a little. But within around 10 minutes it stopped. And as of yet I still feel no pain. Whatsoever. I guess it feels a little swollen, but only if I think about it. So I'm just worried it'll get infected, since my lobe ones did. But I got those in Taiwan and had no ear cleaning solution so this time should be better. But showering is going to be a bitch...
