The girl scout cookies that I spent $4 on contain both hydrogenated oil (clogs your arteries) and TBHQ (lighter fluid). Great.

Ugh, having to listen to a bunch of idiots with IQ's that don't even top 100 debate politics and whether beating a woman is acceptable or not was ULTIMATE TORTURE.

As for my opinion on the topics debated...

1. beating a female is never okay
2. obama should pull the troops out, not redirect them into afghanistan
3. that chimpanzee thing should have been shot since it injured/killed someone and since chimps are smart, it may then come to think that action is acceptable
4. the sunnis and shiites are fighting over religion primarily and basing your argument on a fictitious book, even if it's based on facts, is not reliable, even if the book was really good (kite runner)

I'm looking forward to the portrait project though.

I cannot wait for Daylight Savings Time to begin. I have missed the sun at 6:00 o'clock at night.

My March is crammed full of stuff.
  • 03/02 - scholarships & financial aid due
  • 03/03 - choir rehearsal w/ symphony silicon valley chorale & grammy-award-winning conductor vance george from 6:30-9:30 @ california theatre
  • 03/06 - trip w/ choir to SF to see Wicked
  • 03/06 - 2.5 year anniversary w/ Daniel
  • 03/08 - Dad's birthday
  • 03/10 - 2nd choir rehearsal from 6:00-9:00 @ california theatre
  • 03/15 - choir performance w/ SSVC, other high school choirs, & vance george starting at 7:30pm @ california theatre
  • entire month of 03 - college acceptance and rejection letters come out
At least they're not bad stuff, except for the rejection letters. For once, I feel almost as busy as Erika, except her lists that are as long as mine are are usually for just one day or one week. Crazy bitch.

When you say "Happy Singles Awareness Day" when you're in a relationship, you are automatically a flatout, insensitive bitch.

An Eventful Day

My school had its third bomb threat this school year today. I liked how chill all of my classes were though. In English there were about 10 people, so we just continued Tropic Thunder. In Choir we worked on sight reading; by some miracle we had at least one person for each part. In Zoology we watched James and the Giant Peach because it was the only movie that Walton had. In Gov., she discussed senior project. And I ditched photo cause I didn't want to go through another day of Hicks, plus one of his ridiculous quizzes to boot.

Daniel got me this humongo rose; it's large than my palm! In return I made him chocolate-dipped strawberries. We're going to dinner at Cheesecake later. But he didn't make reservations. Hopefully there'll be room. Then we're going to watch He's Just Not That Into You.

:)
